"Cabaret Total" tells the story of Asi, a young man who returns from reserve duty during wartime and stages a cabaret show that becomes a sensation in a small town in southern Israel.

The film received an honorable mention at the Mar del Plata Film Festival in Argentina, won two awards from the Israeli Academy of Film and Television, the Artistic Achievement Award at the Haifa Film Festival, and the Cinema Award from the Ministry of Culture, which was presented to Roy Assaf. The film received exceptional reviews and was hailed by some critics as a masterpiece.
